 The
24M-high crystal hall, with a total area
of 4,000 M2, can install 140 international
standard booths. With the weight of 147
tons, the "crystal substance"
is hanging from the ceiling of the hall.
This handling technique has reached the
first-class level in China. The "crystal
substance" is the symbol of the crystal
hall and also the "soul scene"
of the whole building. This hall can be
used for exhibiting nonesuch items and
for news conferences, dance and small
and medium-sized cocktail parties. |
 The
area of the exhibition hall of the first
floor, which is the largest among the
three exhibition halls, is 12,000M2.With
long span prestressed structure, it is
high and spacious. It's net height is
12M, in which 805 international standard
booths can be installed, the loading capacity
of which is 1.5T/M2. |
 The
area of the exhibition hall of the second
floor is 9,300M2, and the net height is
8M, in which 601 international standard
booths can be installed. In the north,
large machines can be vertically transported
to the exhibition hall on the second floor
by three cargo elevators with the loading
capacity of 5T respectively. In the south,
19 conference rooms and negotiation rooms
can be afforded to exhibitors. |
 The
unloading area, as the supporting space
of two big exhibiting halls, is subdivided
into four sections with different bright
colours, which can show the clear directions
for proper unloading of goods. Large container
trucks can drive directly into it along
the underground passage in order to meet
the needs of the large-scale exhibitions. |
 The
VIP lounge, which is one of the affiliated
facilities of the center, is the place
for the leaders at different levels and
other people from different walks of life
to rest.
To meet the demands of the exhibitors,
tables, chairs and props are offered for
the purpose of business talks and consultation
and various kinds of exhibitions.
The service of post, telecom, finance,
travel, bar and The Customs and Commodity
Inspection Bureau help to offer on-spot
services and catering both in eastern
and western kinds are also complete in
Qingdao Convention Center. Excellent surroundings
